DUI Offense in Long Branch New Jersey

- First Offense. A first offense results in a fine of $250–$400 if your BAC is between .08% but less than .10% (i.e. First Tier) and $300–500 if the BAC reading is .10% or more (i.e. Second Tier). The related period of driver’s license suspension is 3 months for a first tier and 7-12 months for a second tier. Court assessments are extensive at approximately $400 with a DMV surcharge also becoming due in the amount of $1,000 per year for three years.
